Uploading and downloading files and folders is the process of storing or retrieving files or sets of files stored in Lockbox.
Every user with full read-write access to a box or folder can upload files and folders to it.
It is not possible to upload files or folders to a read-only folder.
Clients cannot upload files or folders to shared client boxes.
You are always prompted when you attempt to upload a file/folder to a destination that already contains an item of the same name. Be aware that existing files are replaced if you confirm the file upload.
Multiple files and/or folders can be uploaded together with drag and drop. To do so, mark multiple entries by clicking them with the mouse while holding the ‘Ctrl’ key of your keyboard before starting the drag and drop.
To upload files or folders using drag and drop do the following:

Folders cannot be uploaded using the toolbar.
After a file or folder upload has been started, you will see a progress bar for every file/folder in the file browser pane. The progress bar indicates progress about the following three steps:

If you wish to abort a file upload in progress, click the ‘abort’ button on the right-hand side of the progress bar. If aborted, an upload process terminates immediately and no files are transferred to your box.

Drag and drop is not supported for file downloads because browser restrictions and limitations in the Java programming language prevent drag and drop actions from Java applications to native applications.
