Managing Files and Folders
Lockbox provides functionality to make sharing files easy for you. The file browser pane of the Lockbox client works like the file browser of your operating system and allows you to manage your files.
For example:
- Create folders
- Navigate boxes and folders
- Upload/download files/folders
- Rename files/folders
- Move files/folders
- Delete files/folders
- Change read-only/read-write attribute of files/folders
- Annotate files/folders.
Names and Structure
Managing files and folders includes browsing, renaming, moving and deleting.
Upload and Download
Uploading and downloading files and folders is the process of storing or retrieving files or sets of files stored in Lockbox.
Annotations and Read-only
Files and folders may be marked with an annotation or set to be read-only.
Split View and Box Mapping
The Lockbox client can be configured to match the hierarchy of your boxes with a part of your file system on your local computer.
