Terminology
This section gives an overview of the Lockbox user interface and the main terminology used in this documentation.
Login and Registration
The Lockbox login process uses a set of credentials. Credentials are setup when you first register and usually stored locally. Lockbox provides various ways for you to manage and recover your credentials.
Files and Folders
Lockbox provides functionality to make sharing files easy for you. The file browser pane of the Lockbox client works like the file browser of your operating system and allows you to manage your files.
Users and Boxes
This section covers how to manage contacts (users), workspaces (boxes) and access (members of boxes).
Clients and Sub-boxes
Lockbox allows businesses to manage a very private and personalised workspaces for their clients. In the user-interface, these "drop-box" areas are sub-boxes under a main Lockbox.
Web Portal
This section covers the Lockbox Web Interface which may be accessed via any web browser.
