Dashboard Releases

The Lockbox Dashboard is our newest product. It runs in the Windows system tray to provide alerts and a summary of recent changes within any of your Lockbox's. The Dashboard also provides a shortcut for starting the main Lockbox application. This page summarises changes and improvements in recent releases of the Lockbox Dashboard.

Dashboard 1.1.0

Released 19 March 2012 (1.1.0.58)

• Layout - changed to be more compact
• Security menu - added which allows backing up of keystore
• Export - automatically opens file after saving
• Actions - now include audit events e.g. grant/revoke access and box creation/deletion
• Registration - capability added via button on login screen

Dashboard 1.0.5

Released 28 December 2011 (1.0.5.36)

• Filters - dropdown added. There are now two different unread filters:
  • No-one has downloaded
  • I haven't downloaded
• Indicators - now show if there is no data to be displayed, who is logged in, and the current filter
• Activity Period - now includes a "Last 3 days" option

Released 13 December 2011 (1.0.4.33)

• Unread filter - toggle button has been added to quickly see files uploaded but not read by anyone. For client workspaces, there is special handling for betwen staff (in the parent box) and the client (in the sub-box):
  
  • Shows files that a client has uploaded - but have not been read by anyone in the parent box.
  • Shows files that a staff member has uploaded to a client workspace (sub-box) - but have not been read by the client.
• Message events - are now shown whenever a message is posted or read within a given workspace.
• Pop-up sizes - now automatically adjusted for different DPI settings (screen resolutions)
• Action colours - are now reset to default values on startup if the preference item "Always start with default action rules" is enabled.

Released 18 November 2011 (1.0.3.29)

• Export - of the activity table is now supported viathe "Activity" menu. The sub-menu allows a choice of formats (HTML, PDF, CSF and Excel).
• Formatting rules - may now be accessed via the "Activity" menu.
• Annotations - are now better displayed with their own icon and associated filename.

Released 7 October 2011 (1.0.2.25)

• Preferences - for date format now take immediate effect when changed
• Activity table columns - now show ellipses (...) when they are too narrow for data items
• Activity menu - item added "Default Formatting" which colours the values in the "Action" column
• Pop-up notifications - now show up to 9 items and ellipses (...) when many files have changed in a short period
• Windows task bar icon - now shows a "dial" icon to differentiate the Dashboard icon from the Lockbox main GUI icon
• Client boxes - now shown as sub-boxes in the left box hierarchy pane
