Client Notifications

You can configure Lockbox to send you notification emails about file and folder actions in any of the client boxes that are associated with a box.

Here you can set up how you receive these notification e-mails.

NOTE: This setting is NOT available for shared client boxes.

To configure your client box notification settings,

  1. In the box navigation pane, select the box for which you would like notifications.
  2. Right-mouse click the box icon to open the box’s context menu and select the ‘Manage Box'/'Administer Box'/'Box Settings’ item.
  3. Select the 'Preferences' tab and the 'Client Box Natification' section.
  4. Tick the ‘Turn on notifications for any new user boxes added to the ebox’ checkbox.
  5. (optionally) Select either
    • The ‘Turn on notifications in all subboxes’ button
    • The ‘Turn off notifications in all subboxes’ button.

Notification are sent to you whenever an event occurs in any of the client boxes.

This option is a shortcut. If you enables it then you do not need to manually turn on notifications for every client box separately.

Notifications are turned off for all client boxes.
